We want to hear your First World War One Stories.

These are the First World War experiences and stories of some of the ordinary Glaswegian men and women.  Glasgow has many interesting and poignant stories to tell demonstrating the bravery, brotherhood and sisterhood of our citizens. The Great War lasted for four years but it changed forever the lives of everyone who lived through that time and indeed how we live our lives today.

These stories will be held on this website to remain a living memorial of the people of Glasgow during the First World War.  By ticking the various boxes below you can view the stories already uploaded to the Glasgow database by category.
